I've found this to be such a loving bunch of people, not judgmental, accepting everyone. It's a small group so you can't get lost like in a bigger church. Lots of love. Hope you like it, too.

I am not what most would consider to be a Christian in the common sense. With that in mind:

I truly appreciate all this church does for the less fortunate in our community. They host a community dinner on Mondays (except holidays) that is always real food!! Free clothing, toiletries, etc are often available and distributed freely to those in need.
Other times they host events for families and young children.

They have quite the imagination when it comes to giving families, and everyone in the community, a great bonding experience contributing to a real sense of inclusion and leaving no one feeling marginalized at all.

Even though it is a church, they do not "push" religion on anyone. There are members of the clergy and congregation on hand, should anyone wish to open a discussion on theology, or request spiritual counseling, or just want someone to pray with them.

The building is a beautiful old church just east of downtown Hamilton on Main St. for those that enjoy some of the fine, older buildings Hamilton has to offer.

Services offered in English and Portuguese, on Sundays (traditional morning services) and on Wednesday evening.

If you are looking for a church, I would suggest you stop in to Charisma and check them out. If you are not looking for a church, but looking for a little help.. be it a meal, to meet others, or if you just need to know that someone truly does care about their fellow beings, make sure to check out this church.
