The Burnt Tongue

Great little shop for some great soup! I was surprised with the offerings they had, as the variety was enough to make anyone happy! Vegetarians, Vegans and Carnivores alike! It was recommended by a local and I am so glad I made the stop before heading back. We had the Somoza soup and a creamy tomato tortellini soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup came with a side of bun, crackers, carrots or apply and we chose the bun and boy was that bun super fresh and tasty! The shop is tiny, with bar stools and counters against the wall, but we got lucky had got some seats. Can't wait to go back to try something else.

Paid about 15$ plus tax for a medium bowl of possibly the greatest tomato soup I've ever had and a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. It was perfect for a chilly day and I will definitely be coming in for more soup as it gets colder out

I've eaten there many times and I've never had a soup that I didn't absolutely love. The sandwiches are tasty and the perfect complement to the soup. The staff are friendly and attentive. I will return again and again and again and again and again!

Loved the potato leek soup. Fantastic flavour and fresh when delivered. The grilled cheese was magically not soggy when it arrived either! Bravo! Love this place!

The absolute best place in town for an amazing soup. The third location is more of the same with exceptional fast and friendly service, as well as healthy and delicious options. Plus, the best part, the consistency has FINALLY allowed them to get on Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, and Door Dash!!!!! Take all my money guys!
