Huntingdon House Boutique Bed and Breakfast

Gorgeously decorated and meticulously accessorized, Huntingdon House BB&B is the perfect place to celebrate. We spent our honeymoon weekend in this peaceful and charming space, and loved the pampering we received from Jenn & Greg. Starting with the entrance to our suite, which literally takes your breath away, to all the special touches, from the colours, the sweets, the bubbly, the soap, and so much more! Then the delicious breakfast, the garden tomatoes, the beautifully landscaped grounds, the relaxing hot tub with added scents to choose from... gosh we even loved the chipnic benches! We can’t thank you enough for making our special weekend even more memorable. We will be surely back for our anniversary!

We had a fantastic stay at Huntingdon House Aug 13-15, 2020! It exceeded all of our expectations. Jennifer and Greg are the nicest couple and they went out of their way to make our stay special. The b&b is beautifully decorated and well-appointed - we felt comfortable and right at home. Breakfasts were delicious and so kindly delivered into our dining area each morning. We enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub in the evenings as well as sitting by the fire enjoying a glass of wine with our hosts. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Not sure where to begin! My husband and I have had over 60+ wonderful AirBnb experiences in Europe and in Mexico, US and Canada... 90% self contained places for our travels... however the 10% that were real B & Bs were very special because of the interaction with the hosts. In staying at Huntingdon House Boutique B & B for a weekend in early August, I remember why the 10% was so special. For a weekend getaway, the in-person pampering is key! Jen and Greg are superb hosts that welcomed us so warmly, and were incredibly accommodating to us throughout our stay, yet respected our privacy. Their piece of serene heaven is even better than the photos, a total delightful hidden gem... property is huge and beautifully landscaped (fruit trees, gorgeous rockage, rolling elevations) and lovely and peaceful. The evening lighting in the yard as we hot tubbed was magical!! INSIDE: Oh my, oh my...after our very warm welcome on the to-die-for porch with pristine vintage rockers, bench … Jen slid open the cool barn door into our space and it was like looking in a decorator magazine spread except cozy and real! And the most sublime lighting… total beautiful ambience. An historical church renovated beautifully to combine old world charm with updated facilities and fixtures, and luxurious amenities! And the attention to detail! Every view of the church is a vignette of beauty and artistic touches… window wells, stunning dining set, glam and sparkle vanity table in the GORGEOUS master! Jen was a house stager in one of her many previous “experience- honing lives” and it is evident in every bit of the space, in a hundred snapshots of home and property. I WANT TO LIVE HERE!!!
Practical but important—hugely comfortable bed and luxurious linens, spa bathroom, luxurious amenities, open concept, panoramic vistas from the church windows and BEST OF ALL— the wooden BEAMs. Ok, I have a few barn beams at my house but …OMG beams are MANY and gorgeous—total beam envy. So, to condense the rest… the pastoral setting of the boutique B&B… thriving farms, rolling hills, beauty scenery just south of prime cottage country… have passed by on the 401 but never explored this area north of Belleville… so much to see and do!! And the breakfast… delicious and lovingly prepared by Greg with heart shaped watermelon pieces and the best French toast I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten lots!!…. Don and I hope to return very soon… but also, I’m gathering my girl posse to book for a perfect “Girl’s weekend/escape” because this beautiful space is perfect for that!! So many thanks, Jen and Greg, for sharing your PARADISE with Don and me! GRATEFUL!!! We are for sure returning soon to this near-to-GTA PERFECT getaway, and we highly recommend to others!!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! We were amazed when we saw how beautiful and spacious Ashley Hall is. Jennifer and Greg were so welcoming and kind. We had such a short stay and couldn't take proper advantage of all the amenities the house offered - I wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area :)

We had the honour of being their first guests at Ashley Hall. It is an absolutely stunning suite with huge, beautiful exposed beams, exquisitely decorated and immaculate. The place looks even better in real life and though off the highway, you cannot not hear a sound inside the air conditioned suite.

I received the accommodation from my daughter as a birthday get-away to relax and I took full advantage of relaxing in the Jacuzzi spa bath and hot tub. We enjoyed a evening on the patio in the beautifully backyard and we were served a delicious epicurean breakfast that was a perfect start to our day.

A mini St. Anne’s Spa experience that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to escape and feel pampered.
