“We had a wedding in Bancroft and didn't want to drive home after. We knew it was a hostel and that we wouldn't have a private bathroom so we knew we shouldn't be expecting a 5* accommodation or anything. We just didn't want to spend a lot of money. We LOVED the staff! They were SO friendly. Ron and Cindy made a delicious pizza. We sat out on the patio and had some beers, pizza and watched the rain. There was a common room with tons of movies but we didn't end up watching anything as we were too tired. The place creaks a lot and definitely has a few quirks. It was tidy but not overly clean feeling, but it has a lot of character and a cool vibe. It kind of felt like we were staying at someone's house. Anyways it's great if you're not too picky and looking for a nice place that isn't too pricey. The employees alone made us want to come back. They were so lovely.”
