Beachwood Hollow Resort

Place is absolutely beautiful. Easy to find and very well kept. Small beach for kids and a dock to fish from. Can rent a boat, kayak, or canoe to enjoy the little lake. Very calm relaxing place. We stayed in number 4. Kitchen a little small but manageable for two people. We mainly cooked over the outdoor firepit in front of our place. There is also a charcoal BBQ at each place if you enjoy that. You can purchase wood here for 20 dollars. You get a pretty good amount but it's cut pieces from a lumber yard so bring an axe. Overall a very beautiful place and we'd come back again.

Great place to bring the family for a little rest and relaxation. Plenty of activities to keep you and the kids occupied. Nice playground for the kids when you need a break. Great for fishing off the dock or on a boat. It is very hard to find a family friendly resort like this one. Come prepared and bring your swimming, fishing and some bbq food. Great owners who always try to accommodate.

This was our third time at Beachwood in 4 years (would have been 4 if we had not ventured elsewhere). The owners Gerry and Joanna are very nice, and go above and beyond. This year was our first year bringing our own boat, and we had troubles right off the bat. Gerry was extremely helpful in helping us out and getting our boat running. We also rent a cottage for the week, a different one each year. The cottages are clean and fully furnished. It's quiet, the view of the lake is breathtaking any time of day as I love taking photos. We started coming here as a birthday gift for my son, a fishing week. Now it has become not only a fishing week but a family vacation; fishing, shopping, eating, campfires, and more fishing. Beachwood Hollow is truly a breath of fresh air.
