(January 3, 2020, 10:13 pm)Our family attended the School House New Year's Eve beef tenderloin dinner and had a lovely time! There were 4 courses, starting with a delicious butternut squash soup, then a fresh spinach strawberry salad, then the tenderloin with Yorkshire pudding, perfectly cooked vegetables, and ending with a selection of desserts. Service was excellent and the setting was cozy and charming. The meal rivaled any from a fine city restaurant. We're accustomed to going for lunches but this special (by reservation) meal was a pleasure. This spot is a real gem!

(September 15, 2019, 4:00 am)Delicious desserts. Carrot cake and banana cake are amazing. Small menu but all home cooked food. Nice selection of teas for their afternoon tea. Interesting theme dinner nights including a Dickens Christmas dinner.
