River Run Restaurant

We had an incredible time at this restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. There are vegetarian options to enjoy as well. This is a family run place so you get wonderful service. Marianne was so hospitable and answered our endless questions about the area with tips for places to enjoy. From the dining room you can enjoy the view of the lake and the golf course. After your meal you can walk right to the edge of the lake as well. Truly a great place to enjoy!

Just visited today with my family, a great family-run restaurant in the heart of Goderich. Server was very kind and ensured everyone was following COVID protocols (masks, sanitizing, social distancing). Very safe space to eat, with a great view of the Lake. Had the Fish and Chips, Butter Chicken dish, and Have A Nice Day Pasta. Presentation of food was perfect, and the fish and chips was the best item on their menu (perfectly crispy).

Hands down the best food and service anywhere! My wife, our 6 month old and I had an amazing lunch at this hidden gem. The view from their beautiful dining room comes second to the incredible flavors, authenticity, freshness and care that is put into every dish. The service is flawlessly executed with knowledge and hospitality regarding the food and surroundings. We enjoyed the Shrimp Po'Boy and the Schnitzel. Both cooked to perfection and excellent portions. Great Value for money! A must stop everytime we come to Goderich!

Love this hidden gem! Had the Mushroom Risotto (special) and schnitzel on a bun. The server was awesome and so was the food! Will definitely recommend to everyone and will be back for sure! ??

All eight of us really enjoyed what we ate. Everything was freshly made and delicious! I had never heard of Shnitzel poutine but it was awesome, and that Czech potato salad is what made us return a second time in the week. So good!
