Eugenia's Kitchen at the Shallamar

What a find! My friends and I were there on Sunday and wrapped up my birthday weekend with one of the finest made-to-order FRESH cooked meals for a brunch I could have asked for. These folks are super friendly, know what they’re doing and are a true reflection of what country is meant to be. Their house made gravy is a MUST - very unique in flavour and hella fresh! They are so kind they bring out complimentary fresh baked goods for you while you wait for your order. All good things take time and there isn’t a better example of that than them in the area 💯

Good quality food and excellent portions. Customer service is friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable.

The home fries are highly recommended even for vegetarians as they are cooked in their own vegetable oil fryer.

This is a large, bright and airy restaurant with good indoor air quality and a nice view of the lake.

It has only recently reopened but I expect to see the menu expand and the quality maintained. This is a good place for families and people making the drive to the cottage and folks holidaying in the area.

And yes, there really is a Eugenia!

Great new family style restaurant in Kirkfield. Definitely put it on your visit list. Visited on opening day for breakfast and it was fantastic 👌
