Extremely clean, comfortable overnight accommodation. The ownership is doing a good job of providing a safe place to stay during the covid 19 pandemic. If you wish to stay longer propane BBQ's with lots of playground, picnic tables, lawn chairs and a fire pit. We definitely will stay here again.

My family and I (2 kids and 2 adults) have been staying here for years. It is always nice to see Maggie (the owner) and her husband. She makes us feel like part of her family. The rooms are so beautiful and really comfy. They have everything you need for a comfortable trip away from home even with the kids. We have seen all the work that Maggie and her family has put into the motel over the years and it looks great. This motel is a favourite amongst our family and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else while up here. Do yourself a favour and stop by and spend a night you won’t regret it.

Stayed June 18-21 to fish balsam lake. Maggie was amazing and the room was great, clean, well equipped, even had cable tv with every channel you could ask for. And the rate was very affordable. I'd recommend this motel to anyone wanting to get aways and enjoy the lake.

What a quaint cozy little motel. It is so refreshing to meet people who actually care about your stay. The owner showed me the room before checking in. She asked if it was acceptable and if there was anything else I required.. Clean, comfy and very reasonably priced room that is set far back from the road. I had a great night's sleep listening to to frogs and crickets. Definitely will return!
