We love The Pinery Provincial Park, we camp here with our trailer annually. The beaches are great, hiking and biking trails. We love to rent canoes and swim in the river. The campsites are large with lots of trees and shade. We generally camp at Riverside, but have rented in The Dunes. The facilities are close by and clean.

The Pinery has that "Up North" feel without having to drive 7 hours. There is a lot of wildlife and if camping during a time when the kids go back to school, it doesn't seem to be overly crowded. Really nice big general store however be prepared to pay a little extra for firewood. The biggest complaint that I heard from our group was that the campsites are quite sandy and not grassy like many are accustomed to, I personally did not mind. Would go again and recommend to friends and family.

Great camp ground with lots of trails and things to do. They have a store if you forgot something or need some extra water and firewood. Although, I recommend you bring your own wood. Very happy with our flat, sandy, Dunes tent site with lots of privacy.

Great family camping experience. Beach is long (somewhat rocky). The sunset over Lake Huron on a clear night is amazing! Trails from many campsites lead through the unique sand dunes to the water. Canoe rental, a lovely visitor's centre, bike rentals and trails round out the park's offerings.

Clean washrooms and park. May go back but would love to see more parks. 3 hr drive each way for us. Would highly recommend it though. Beach is not the best for small children as it gets deep really quick. Our kids ages 9,10 and 13 loved it and got to jump in some evening waves.
