Fanshawe College Residence and Conference Centre

Very efficient conference facility. I was there for a conference of e days. Stayed at student dorms. Not as comfortable as a hotel, but no complaints at all. Good food. One negative was the long distance between seminar rooms.

Stayed at the residence for my first year of school. Specifically kestral court. The house was actually really nice. Common rooms were good and the use of a kitchen was key considering I was learning to cook the internet was mediocre but enough to do school work and casual gaming. The house was nice and homey. Roommate we're terrible, so try and get people you know to move in with you. They have cleaning services come in twice a month which was really nice. The rooms were furnished and spacious.

Dropped my daughter off at residence. Nice big rooms and kitchenette. Security was good. Locking bedroom makes me feel comfortable.

Nice rooms. Big enough to fit supplies. The conference area was great and the location is in a good part.

My child has enjoyed living in residence this year at Fanshawe. They have made many new friends; the proximity to their classes affords them more rest time. The ease with which finding friends and/or classmates to study with has also enhanced their social development, while maintaining their interest and focus on the course material. City bus transportation to and from the college has also contributed to their sense of independence because of the ease of access to grocery stores, restaurants, movie theatres, etc. in the community. Overall, this has been a positive experience for my child.
