Hanabi Sushi

I’ve been on a sushi feeding frenzy lately, and tonight, I kept that going. Hanabi Sushi is just north of Masonville.

My first round of sushi consisted of Salmon Oshi and Rainbow Dragon. The Oshi had avocado, crab, and red onion. But it also was a type of Aburi Oshi. These are torched, boxed shaped, and come with a specialty sauce. The Rainbow had a dynamite base, sashimi (thinly sliced fish or meat) topping, and eel sauce.

To close my dinner, I ordered a Big Boss. Extra crab meat, extra shrimp tempura, and yam tempura. But there was something missing. I would have enjoyed way more if it had a sauce.

The dining area had a nice Japanese feel. However, I got little privacy because the tables were quite close to each other.

I ended up paying $53.

The Salmon Oshi was the crème de la créme. I left content after tasting such flavour. Hanabi is a magnificent restaurant that has earned my admiration.

Drove by Hanabi Sushi and ordered a California roll as a quick snack, it was so delicious, we ordered a party tray as dinner the next day. Everything was perfect!! We will be back!

Visited today and everything was great. The service staff were very kind and food came out nice and quick. The atmosphere was very inviting and clean. I am I big fan of hand rolls, so when I found out you can have any on the classic rolls made as a hand roll I was very pleased. Note it’s just one hand roll for the cost of a classic roll. I recently visited this sushi place, and overall, it was a great experience. The sushi was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The owner was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere also added to the enjoyable dining experience. However, I found the cream cheese wontons to be quite bland, which was a bit disappointing, and a bit of cream cheese over load, but if you love cream cheese then this might be the best cream cheese wonton for you 🥰 Despite that, I'd rate this place a 4 out of 5 because of its excellent sushi, great service, and pleasant ambiance! We will be back!😀
