  A beautiful escape, yet conveniently close to the city. Fantastic for paddle boarding or kayaking, with a small public dock/launching platform.

  Awesome place close to most spots London and it has great swimming, fishing, caneoing, paddle boarding, etc.
  
  There is a fee for day use so you can park your car but I believe they also have things like season/year passes which make more sense financially if you are a frequent visitor.
  
  The water is pretty good quality for swimming so bring on the squad. Seems like most people who visit here are relaxed... Which also means you will come across dogs who are off leash.
