Oak Bay Golf Club

My father recently moved in here. The neighbours greeted him so warmly when we pulled in with the moving truck. Looks like a wonderful place to stay! I’m jealous!!

Amazing location and a challenging course. Highly recommend.

I will start by saying this course is beautiful and has some very nice holes. You will need to hit your shots on the par 3 on the green or they will be lost in the water or heavy bush. Challenging and fun course to play. We found everything well maintained except for the bunkers which were mostly unplayable if your ball went in there.

The carts are equipped with a touch screen that displays yardage from your spot on each hole and can view flyovers before teeing off. Overall great experience but for a round of golf at this cost you would assume better sand even though I don’t plan on spending most of my day on the beach, 6th hole is outstanding so don’t leave your camera in the cart when walking to the tee.

If you hit balls in the bush be prepared to lose them as there is warnings all over the course for poison ivy so be prepared.

The course is absolutely gorgeous... However, it is very difficult... Pretty much target golf. Bring lots of balls.
Enjoyed it tremendously anyhow. What better way to spend a day? 👍
