Recently my family visited this wondrous City of God or Teapoli in Gavenhurst.The beautiful statue of Sister Carmelina of Tarantino became an icon of resilience and courage for my family as we prayed in front of it at the simple and yet peaceful chapel.We are sincerely grateful to Father Robert who gracefully enlightened us with a treasure of information about how the statue of Sister Carmelina was placed in the chapel. Thanks Joe for responding promptly too.
We pray for the revival of this blessed place of tranquility !

Teopoli helped me come back to my Catholic faith. This place inspires you to have a deeper relationship with our Lord. God is truly present and we hope one day the Servant of God, Sr. Carmelina becomes a saint. You have to come visit this humble and beautiful place.

A peaceful place to visit. Father Claudio explains the life and miracles of Sister Carmela. There is also an outdoor Stations of the Cross and outdoor Way of Jesus (different then The Stations). Tours can be arranged by calling in. I came with a pre-booked group but we were joined by some people who came on their own and it wasn’t a problem. Some times there are bus loads of visitors so if you are elderly or not tolerant to crowds it might be worth calling in. Would definitely come back here again.

What a wonderful experience. This is a must visit if u want to renew your faith in Christ. Its peaceful tranquil surroundings give you a chance to heal and talk to the Lord.
