Grounds are nice, beer was good.
When we arrived we had cabin #8 .. Very old could see through the walls, asked to be moved. Cabin 23 much more of what we were expecting. Pricing per person is over the top. Really over priced for what you get.
Noticed they provide earplugs !!! Strange right. But after the first night we all knew what they were for!!!! Train passes by every 2 hours !!! It would have been nice of them to advise. Pastries are a nice touch, if they filled the box. 4 little Danishes just doesnt cut it. Snacks are a nice touch. Appears have great ideas, and going to be a nicer place, looks to be in the early stages of construction as well.
Staff was friendly, food purchased for dinner at the brewery was very disappointing. Everyone's meal was cold and was served in small paper tray portions. We are thankful made a road trip out of and stop at 8 other breweries along the way !! One more note... bed were very hard !! To the point that my hips hurts sleeping on.

Went for 3 nights and 4 days for our honeymoon and it was great. The cabin was cozy. Getting to the cabin was a little confusing, but once we went into Clear Lake Brewery they explained it all. The snacks were great, the morning pastry was a nice touch. We got the keg, but there were shelves for the fridge available. We spent time in Bala and Gravenhurst, but the little beach area was nice. We canoed around clean lake and it was beautiful. There were lots of chairs to enjoy the beautiful lake as well. We spent a little time at the bonfire, and it was great. Overall a fantastic experience and we will be back for our yearly anniversary!

Visited mid september 2020. Beach water was clear and beautiful. Service incredible, you are given a number to txt for anything you need (restock the free junk food, coffee, and even go pick up your take out orders from town). Our cottage was perfect, we had #5 which is a 3 bdrm cottage located in a private area with #3 and #4. The photo of the cottages up the hill which are side by side are their newly built cabins and are numbered as cabins #21-25. Ive included a picture of their cabin locations map for reference. Cabins 6-10 are close enough to the main fire that if people are partying into the night you would hear them, but they are beautiful cabins with porches and closer to the water. Cant wait to go back !

Ok so our stay was pretty good. The resort grounds are really nice and the beach is beautiful (just a little small). Staff were nice, it was low key, location was great for a day trip into town or to go hiking and it was stress free. Would be a great place for a young family. Cute touches with the snacks, baked goods and Bon fires. why then just a 3? It is expensive for what you are getting about $500 for the two night weekend. I found the pricing confusing, as you pay per person per night. Our cabin (#9) had two double beds so if we decided to go with two friends it would have been double the price? Other things, My husband and I went and we're told to bring queen sheets but then it was a double bed. In our cabin you could smell the septic/sulfury smell. For a weekend it's good but I can imagine staying much longer as the kitchen is not stocked with any basics at all and there's only a microwave kettle and coffee maker. And you need to bring your own drinking water.
The fridge is full sized but all the shelves were removed so you could get a keg (30L only)installed. I would have like to get more beer but visitors don't get a deal and due to covid they had no cans of beer. We ended up getting growlers which was ok!! All in all is was a good experience. The area is beautiful and luckily our weather was fantastic.
