Keewaydin Temagami

I spent one summer at the temagami site, and another at the outpost site in 2002 and 2003. This camp was hands down the single most important and formative experience of my childhood. Spending weeks at a time in the remote wilderness of northern Canada living in a tent and traveling 10-15 miles a day, eating fish, cutting firewood, and learning how far you can push yourself is a magical experience. I cannot recommend this enough.

This is hands down one of the most impactful experiences in my life. Going to Keewaydin is absolutely magical and if you're considering sending your children I'd suggest you do it whole-heartedly. There's no internet or other distractions, and really helps kids develop into powerful human beings, both inside and out!

I went to the other keewaydin camp in vermont. It was awesome. So I'm guessing thiss place is awesome too.

Amazing camp. Stunning setting with a great staff and traditions. My son went for 8 summers that he, and we, will never forget.
