Very nice venue beautiful property

My cousin got married there this summer and it was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend as a venue!

This venue is top notch, the barn is amazing and the grounds are very well kept. Surroundings are beautiful which make for stunning photos.

The venue is truly exquisite and we were very happy having our wedding there.

However, there are just a few things we wish to share for others so that they don’t face the same surprises/challenges we did.

Do not expect this to be full service from the venue coordinator/owner. There were a lot of issues we had to deal with directly, and were informed by the owner who was our onsite coordinator for the day that it wasn’t her problem.

While the electricity had recently been upgraded, we would recommend renting a back up generator as the Father of the Bride had to go down to the breaker room 12 times to fix the electricity.

Plumbing was also an issue in one of the bathrooms with the Father of the Bride, MC, and one of our guests attempting to fix it. Which thankfully they did.

While our caterers were cleaning garbage inside the barn, remember to assign someone to empty the waste bins in the bathrooms as they are quite small, so that it doesn’t end up with the Mother of the Bride doing the work.

Also to be noted, you are responsible for ensuring all garbage is removed from the premises the next day. That said, the city dump is closed on Sundays, so this proved to be problematic.

Ensure you have a strong wedding planner, as we have hoped our would have thought of many of these elements, that said, much of these would be atypical to have to think of for a wedding.

Thankfully for us, our family and friends were so amazing in dealing with all this, that my husband and I had no clue and of this was going on until after our wedding. But do wish they could have fully enjoyed our wedding without having to deal with these forms of issues.

This all said, we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful setting for our wedding. Just be prepared for a full do-it-yourself wedding and hopefully in learning of some of our challenges, you can be better prepared for your own beautiful day, so that these issues don’t fall upon you own friends and families.
