    A beautiful place.

We were lucky enough to reserve one day in advance for a front row spot for camping. But I recommend to do that in advance to have best places. Our spot (327) was amazing, the lake was just near us. It was a pebbly beach (the sandy one is a bit farther) but I loved it even more than the sandy one because there were far less people.
In general, near our spot there was water access, and bathrooms. There are showers but there are a little bit farther.

    I definitely recommend this place.

Presqu'ile has an assortment of trails, with the most notable being the Marsh Boardwalk. Many of the trails are not very difficult and these trails often connect to each other. The park is also home for wildlife and provides good bird watching opportunities.

The park also has several beach areas and ample picnic space to go along with campgrounds on site. The beaches are a great alternative to the Sandbanks which are more well known in the area (east of this park).

Staff on site are very helpful and will assist in helping find way points in the park. Something to keep in mind is that the maps may not have been updated for where parking areas are at. For example, the main park map does not show that there is available parking at Marsh Boardwalk Trail and that there is a washroom right by the Owen Point Trail entrance.

Very nice park. We ended up going here because we weren't able to get a site at Sandbanks but we were pleasantly surprised. The park is very nice, very well maintained. Several nice walks (although we didn't do them all). Beach is very nice and huge and much less busy than Sandbanks; I don't know why there's not more day use visitors. Our issue though is that we always camp at Outlet River A because the beach is within walking distance but at Presqu'île, the beach is quite far and requires a long bike ride or drive.

This provincial park has quite a private feel to it since there is literally one entrance towards the main of the park. The park is fantastic to camp in, offering multiple different sites from shady, to sun-filled, electric, and RV camping. The spot I stayed at had a lot of spiders, but very little other insect disturbances. The washroom and facilities were pretty clean and we're available all throughout the park! The trails were definitely gorgeous, and each trail had something different to offer. Definitely take at least one day to explore the multitudes if trails they have to offer. A lot of the main roads are also covered by tree shade which make for fantastic biking routes. The park shop has products that you would need, like shampoo and food, but it doesn't have much gift shop options. The beach (which has a specific term for it's type), on the other hand is a different story, being a massive beach that stretches 2.5 kms. It's quite a site to see, and you have to visit to experience it! The beach was super clean with soft sand and clear water. There are also some activities like finding plaques all over the park about the history of that spot, or the nature museum that showcase the species and surroundings of the park, and it's completely free! Finally, take a bike ride or drive to the end of the park to visit the lighthouse as it's the second oldest in Ontario! Overall, fantastic provincial park!

Day beaches are an incredible place to spend a summer day. Many afternoons playing in the lake amongst the waves and shallow, sandy waters of Lake Ontario. Plenty of beach space for visitors to spread out and enjoy the sun.

Beaches have had lots of seaweed and other stuff along the shore in recent years, otherwise 5 stars. Still one of the best beaches around and the rest of the park has lots to offer.
