Breakers Motel on the Lake

Always a great stay at the breakers! Friendly staff and a wonderful view on the lake. 10/10 would recommend.

Audrey was so accommodating and thoughtful when it came to my older parents needing a place to stay when their power went out for days. She met them when they arrived and ensured they settled in fully. Very clean and beautiful location.

Breakers Motel was a fabulous find for us. We were looking for a place to stay for the night after visiting a local friend. After a quick search, were happy to find this place right on the water, with available rooms, that would also take dogs.

Everything about our stay was great! We are looking forward to returning when we are in town again.

This is our favourite getaway! It is clean, comfortable and right on the lake. The staff is friendly and always happy to make our stay enjoyable.

This is a hidden gem. The prices are quite reasonable. The rooms are clean and spacious. I have stayed here three times (once as a kid, and the last two summers in the cottage/"housekeeping" room 12). These are fully equipped, beautiful cottages that honestly feel like modest homes. The real gem though is the property - a spacious lawn, beautiful garden, and private dog-friendly beach. Staying here means you never have to worry about the crowds at the beach directly next door. My dog absolutely loves it. (She started crying when we pulled up, too excited to get out and play on the beach.) The only drawback is that people who know about it tend to rebook as they leave, making it hard to get a reservation. I recommend getting on the wait list ASAP!
