Are you ready on June 18? Yes, I am! Thanks for Wilson, the owner of 797 Boat Rental. I had a GREAT harvest last year and thanks for your fishing tips and skills transfer. Your dock is nice, clean, and well maintained. I will see you on the BASS opening day! Anyone wants BIG fish, come to Rice Lake. I strongly recommend 797-Boat Rental to everyone!

First time renting the boat at Rice Lake and it was all worth it. Wilson is very accomodating even though we have to cancel last week due to the weather. He is thorough explaining the process and procedure on how to operate the boat. He went above and beyond, what an excellent service. My hubby and I had a great time and had a great catch! We will definitely coming back. Thank you Wilson!

We rented a fishing boat with 797-Boat Rental last Sunday. The owner Wilson was very nice and walked us through the rental and a map of Rice Lake. He also gave us a lesson on how to operate the boat with great detail and patiently answered our questions.

It was a nice surprise to see the cleanliness of the place and of all the boats. Wilson explained that he deep cleans and sanitizes each boat after use, along with each of the life jackets. Other establishments I’ve been to often don’t clean their life jackets and can smell quite terribly. That was not the case here.

I would definitely return again without hesitation and would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a clean boat rental at Rice Lake.

First time renting a boat and couldn't have asked for a better first time and instructor. Wilson and crew did an outstanding job making sure our first time was fun, safe, and educational. I can say with much confidence that I will return for more fishing and Wilson's enjoyable company. Cheers and thank you Wilson for making my first boat rental experience a good one!

I rented boats in the past from Wilson the owner but have had my own boat for some time. Sold it a few weeks ago and wanted to go out on the lake so came back here .This year I had to cancel not once but twice, including 17 July when I went up to the lake and it was pouring. Keep in mind, there was also a deposit, which was refunded in full. I felt guilty about cancelling twice and offered to surrender the deposit but he would not accept that. Wilson took the time to go out of his way and show me the weather forecast and said it was no problem to cancel. He even went so far as to invite myself and my father to fish at the dock so the day would not be a total loss. This type of integrity, honesty and commitment to the highest level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare nowadays. Do yourself a favour and don't take my word for it, go rent a boat yourself. By the way he also has bait and it appears maybe even loaner/ rental rods including ones for kids(?) Rice lake itself has been a favourite of mine since the late 80's,chock full of fish and a beautiful lake to boat on. Well done Wilson and I wish you the greatest success. You turned what looked what was going to be a wipeout of a rare family outing into a valuable lesson about how to treat people and that there are in fact still plenty of wonderful people out there; you are most certainly one of them. Thank you on behalf of myself and my family who are grateful. I will be back for sure!

My friend and I had a very enjoyable full day renting a boat from Wilson who showed us exactly how to operate the boat. We were lucky enough to catch a bunch of fish to take home into our cooler from being new at fishing in general. There were a lot of weeds in the water but we found a really good spot to drop our rods to catch some nice, tasty looking fish. Good service and a decent price for the area. There is an on-site washroom by the docks if needed. Also restaurants with patios, parking and public dock on the same street.
