Great prices for great shows. A gorgeous theatre with excellent talent. A variety of shows to appeal to all ages and interests. I always love checking out their lineup. Not a bad seat in the house.

This a nice small and very comfortable theatre. Almost every seat delivers a great view of the stage with good accoustics. If you are ever in Port Hope, you must check it out. We saw 9to 5 and the production was amazing. Great sound, choreography and acting!

It’s great to see an old theatre being used for live theatre! The staff are very welcoming, the concession stand is good, washrooms are clean. The theatre itself is intimate and comfortable.
My only complaint is the volume of the musical I attended. Do they think everyone is deaf? I was going to leave at intermission because I was so uncomfortable with the volume of the singing. Sometimes the singing was distorted due to the volume.
It’s too bad, because everything else was great!

We always have a great experience when we come. They are always accommodating to our needs as seniors and very pleasant. The shows are always well put on and very entertaining. We are so happy this establishment is up and running again. As locals we are very lucky to have this place so close. We will be watching for the next performance.

The Capitol Arts Centre is such a Gem of Port Hope. I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen many amazing performances at this theatre throughout my life. Every year as tradition I love to see the Capitol Christmas trees. The recent renovations look fabulous! Staff and volunteers are super friendly with guests. Recently watched the Nutcracker on screen, what a lovely night out. Highly recommend checking out this beautiful theatre. Star lit ceiling is beautiful with a Little Dipper too.
