Nice and quiet park near a town. The park is only 1.98km², the trail along the river is interesting with beautiful view. Very good place for boating and fishing.
Not safe to swim in the river. No beach. Road in the park is very dusty. Do not take campsites without shade in summer.
Washroom is old ,with only one shower.
We also spent a afternoon to visit the town, bakery and ice cream store.

Only one women's shower in the park for over 100 campsites. Bathrooms need a serious upgrade. Park was very quiet with a nice walking trail to the suspension bridge. Campsites were a good size and many seemed to have good privacy. No swimming nearby but there's a public pool in town. Campbellford is very nice to spend a day checking out the local businesses along the river.

Moved to the locale last year and stumbled across this park. Haven't fully explored yet, but did get lost in a sea of ice while wandering around the campsite paths. Wish I had worn cleats! During the green months the path along the river is a quiet reprieve from the day to day. If you like suspension bridges, you're in luck.
