Beautiful place! I did a volunteer day with my old work here for clean up and it was a lot of fun. The centre/camp has some great features and is in a perfect location. 🌿🍁🌾

The staff were very friendly, respectful, and helpful, I highly recommend! 😊👍🏻

Great outdoor centre especially for kids. Fabulous nature programs. But not great for older folk who want / need a washroom in the same building as their accommodation. Bathrooms and showers are all in a separate bulging.
However the community dining building does have toilet facilities.

Also accommodation is very basic: bunk beds in cramped rooms. Still it is fun and my grandkids loved camping there with the scouts.

Best summer camp for kids where they teach you how to build fires, build shelters, canoe, kayak, tie climbing knots, and so much more!! My recommendation for a sign up is explorer or pioneer

We were there on a school "Grade 6 End of Year" field trip. Everyone had a great time with lots of activities... climbing wall, orienteering, shelter building, etc. The camp is clean and well maintained with excellent and knowledgeable councillors. I would recommend this camp to anyone looking for a summer day camp or overnight camp.

I have a severely physically disabled daughter, she uses a wheelchair for all mobility. YMCA along with the Ottawa Children's Treatment Center ( CHEO now) offer a joint program where extra supports are brought in to the Bonnenfant center for kids like my daughter so they can experience a full time outdoor camp. They do everything in a rustic setting with no indoor time, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, shelter building, rope course, etc etc. For 5 years running this camp is the highlight of my daughters summer. The staff are organized with strict pick up procedures etc etc, nothing but good things to say for YMCA Bonnenfant.
