RiverOak Ice Skating Trail

Only got to visit RiverOak Ice skating trail once this season on the last weekend they were open. I can't wait until next year so I can come back and enjoy it some more. So many trails to enjoy and hay bails throughout the property on the side of trails to take a break. We especially loved the fresh mini cinnamon sugar coated donuts as a snack.

My family and I had a fun and active experience at the trail! Even during the course of the skate I watched my daughter (7) make adaptations to her skating to accommodate the incline and downhill parts of the trail. A truly unique and Canadian experience. I like that I can pull my other daughter (3) on a makeshift sled and it's accepted. Thank you River Oak family!!! I also like the new extended trails this year.

Super fun trails. Pay once and skate all day. Fun going down the hills. The ice was in great shape. Not everyone was respecting the mask rule while around the fire and while changing into skates on benches.

Me and my boyfriend had the greatest time. Well I did for the most part. However the boyfriend thinks it's really recommended for people who can skate, expert and intermediate as their is lots of winding trails that loop and connect. Pretty busy for a weekday during the day. The ice was pretty uneven and bumpy. We were informed of this.

Easy to get to off the main highway and good parking. Friendly and accommodating.
