Big Al's Aquarium Supercentres - Ottawa

Great live fish, reptile, and aquarium supply store. The staff are always friendly and helpful and their selection is second to none, in Ottawa. Even if you're not shopping, it makes for a free visit to a reasonably large aquarium. They constantly restock their selections of saltwater fish, corals, invertebrates, freshwater livestock, plants, reptiles and arachnids!

My son has wanted a turtle for a couple years. I realize that is a lot of work to take care of one. We searched everywhere to find one and decided to go to Big Al's in Ottawa.

I am so happy we went. The service was amazing and we left with everything we needed to raise our turtle. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and super excited about her job.

Everyone made sure we knew what the committment was with a turtle. That made me happy. I made sure they knew this was not a spur of the moment purchase, but the fact that the wanted to qualify us for this purchase was amazing.

I will make the drive to go there again. Well done guys!!!!

Great place to buy anything you're looking for when it comes to fish, aquariums, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Also, can't beat their prices! Keep up the great service!!

I love shopping here! I often go to simply look at the fish. The staff are amazing here also. Karen is by far the most personable person I have ever met in customer service. Errol is great for discussing new tank setups to get you started and any questions and concerns you have- he knows his stuff! And Kevin in the fish room always works hard, ensuring every customer gets a welcoming/fun experience, and is really knowledgeable of the various species of fish!
