Great to hike and xcountry ski along the river. The challenge is that for skiing, it is public ungroomed trails and people do walk and snow shoe on the tracks sometimes.

A wonderful place in the heart of Kanata to walk around and see mallards and American black ducks, Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets and Night Crowned night Herons. Wildlife like raccoons, white tailed deer rabbits, muskrats and coyotes.to name a few. Best times to walk around are early morningsThis pathway leads to the watts creek pathway. The pathway is primarily used as a cycling and running trail in the spring summer and fall, and a skiing and fat biking trail in the winter.Love this whole area lots of deer and wildlife and of course beautiful birds. There is a unpaved parking area which is gravel covered. It can get muddy at times so make sure you wear appropriate footwear. The parking area borders people’s homes so be mindful of that when parking. Once on the watts creek pathway you can go either left or right. The right direction will take you through some beautiful areas where you can see lots of birds and deer and other wildlife and eventually come out to Corkstown road. The left direction will lead you past some Amazing Green-space where you can seen lots of birds. It will also lead you past the Wesley clover horse park - the back of it. The path will lead you out to the beginning of Corkstown road and Moodie drive. There is also limited parking available here. If you love wildlife this pathway is a must you will
Not be disappointed. Best times for visiting are early mornings when at sunrise.

It's a pretty spot with easy trails that lead to the river there is a lot of ice at the moment. Good spot for an afternoon walk.

Nice trail for beginner hikers. A bit short. But good path for walking and running.
