Log Cabin Orchard, closed until august 2021

We loved visiting this cute little pumpkin patch and taking some really cute photos. While we were there we shared some hot apple cider and churros by the camp fire. So delicious! The owners are such personable people. We can't wait to return next fall for Apple picking

Decided to go for drive to get out of the city. We were not able to pick apples the morning we were there however they had a wide selection available for purchase. If you are selective on types of apples, suggest calling ahead to ensure they still have varieties you are looking for. Staff were very friendly. Was not too busy when were there on a weekday morning.

We have a great time nice activity for the kids as well and the location easy to find and there was lots of parking in a mowed area. There were two rows open for picking and you can buy two sizes of bags to fill (small was 20 bucks, large was 35 - cash only though) the price is little bit expansive compared to last year . Make sure you wear proper shoes - the grass was a bit wet and tall . Still flat enough between the rows to bring a stroller or wagon. They had ladders as well if you wanted to pick apples up high on the tree. It would be nice if there was something else to do or see - our visit was pretty short since we filled our bags quickly. Looks like there used to be animals on the property but the pens were overgrown. Would be fun for the kids if they had bunnies or something. They also had picnic tables if you bring your own snack/lunch. Would recommend.
