Breakfast is always fantastic and this time we had more time to sit and chat with them over breakfast. We have already planned our 4th visit to have enjoyed all of their beautiful rooms ???????? -

(October 9, 2019, 7:44 pm)If you are staying in Listowel, this is the place to stay. Faye and Ty are terrific hosts. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. What truly made it a 5 star experience was the breakfast, it was absolutely terrific. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

It's an old restored communications building from the 1800's that still maintains much of it's original look and feel with a huge winding staircase, high ceilings, vaulted windows with varying bedroom sizes and layout. The Cross family has kept the warmth and look and authenticity of time past throughout the house and they are the best hosts you could ask for.

My son and daughter-in-law's wedding stayed there for the weekend and we hosted the rehearsal party there as well. The Cross family was extremely gracious and helpful to our bride, groom and attendants, and were an amazing help to us in organizing the reheasal party. The house is located in Listowel and close to many amenities. They have lovely yard as well. We would highly recommend a stay at the Hardwood Haven Bed & Breakfast. Our children will remember their time spent there on their special day and so will we. -

(August 30, 2019, 4:34 am)This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and let me just say how wonderful of an experience it was Fay and Ty are exceptional hosts and more our stay very comfortable.

We rented 4 rooms for 3 nights for us and our relatives (12 people) to attend our sons wedding. It was welcoming, delicious breakfast, neat, tidy and clean. Couldn’t wish for anything more.
