My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Viamede Resort! The grounds were beautiful, the views were stunning and the staff was wonderful!! We stayed in a cottage and it was extremely comfortable! The whole resort is very inviting and unpretentious! A perfect cottage getaway!!

Our daughter and new son-in-law were married at Viamede this past weekend. Due to COVID the wedding plans changed from a June wedding to a small intimate wedding in September. Viamede were amazing giving us all imaginable options. The wedding turned out absolutely perfect from the accommodations to the 9 course meal. It was a very unique experience, just superb. Thanks to all the staff and a special shout out to Deanna for helping us coordinate the wedding, she's a dynamo. We asked and Deanna delivered. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. The Robinson's

Our family weekend getaway exceeded our expectations by a mile. It was perfect in every way. The first evening we ate at the Boat House, the menu was varied and made with freshest ingredients grown on the estate. We celebrated two birthdays - the restaurant team - James and Alyssa (her first day on the job, Bravo!) - were so attentive and on point. Ben, gave us treat and his generosity made the celebration extra special. The children in our party were well taken care of by Ben. He took them fishing, tubing not once but multiple times. Ben is the best! The hiking and spectacular views made our weekend getaway extremely memorable. This is now our annual escape from Toronto's chaos. Last but definitely not the least we want to acknowledge the very engaged and helpful staff who made it all happen - Krista, Deanna, Nicole, Alyssa, James, Ana, Ariel, Robin, Lizzie, Jessie, Farmer Bob, and others we didn't get to meet or know by name. Look forward to seeing you all next year!.

I wished I could give them 5 stars but they're not quite there. There's a LOT to like and I recommend the place. But they also have some stuff they need to fix or get better. Highlights include super nice staff, small farm with animals, play space, playground, free tubing every day, nice beach with free kayaks and canoes, outdoor pool, breakfast included. Unfortunately the indoor pool and gym were closed (COVID19). Things that turned us off were the maintenance of the cottage (you can see they renovated a lot of stuff and they're ok, but there were a lot of "small" issues that together make it feel not 5 star worthy), overgrown vegetation, small selection for eating during breakfast and in the boathouse, faint Wi-Fi. Again, nothing is a deal breaker and overall this is a recommended, solid 4 star.
