If you are going to do that, you should have some information panels outside to explain more about the locks (instead of the unrelated ones you did have posted about WWII and Riel). -

(September 8, 2021, 8:21 pm)Real neat spot to sit and watch or picnic or walk around. We came after Labour Day so the visitor center was closed. The bathrooms were open at the top of the locks which was great. Not a lot of boats coming through but saw the lock transfer twice in the 1.5 hr we were there. The operator at the top end was very engaged and came out to explain how it works and had some stuff for the kids which certainly enhanced the experience.
