Great place. Best place for pets

At one time I loved this store but find the staff is less helpful, less engaging, uninterested in the customers, and increasingly off putting and even condescending. I will now go only when I absolutely need food. I find myself trying to go to another Pet Valu location, Innes Rd to have a pleasurable experience.
My recent experiences have been mixed depending on the staff. Allison is fabulous! She is helpful, courteous, knowledgeable about product and where its located in the store and can make recommendations when you have specific needs. Allison also understands the reward system and various food purchase programs.

Overpriced but I've never bought anything that has left me feeling disappointed. I shop here at least once a month. The staff is friendly and helpful. Interesting events are sometimes held here as well.

Excellent service every time. Great variety of toys and treats for my dogs. Would be nice if they could separate the local/Canada-made treats from the rest for those of us who care about things like that. Staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help - it was a relief for me to have their help when picking up a harness for my dog (they helped me find a good fit for him and adjusted it for me). So grateful to have a pet-friendly business like Pet Valu in the neighbourhood (leashed pets welcome).

Amazing place for animals. The staff are so wonderful and helpful. I will recommend coming here to anyone with a pet. Close and convenient this makes this store the whole package for pet owners. Thank you so much for being awesome!
