Lord Nelson Fine Dining

Another great evening at The Lord Nelson! This is by far one of our favourite restaurants to splurge on. We’ve been here numerous times and every time the food is delicious, the staff is courteous and attentive, and the environment formal yet not incredibly pretentious. After reading some of the lack lustre reviews, I felt compelled to say that we’ve never been treated less than deserving of a table there. Experience Lord Nelson for yourself! The caesar salad is to die for! The shrimp cocktail is massive and the lamb is still one my all time favourites!

Four of us went last night to celebrate a special occasion. Enjoyed both: the service and the food. 5 star place. Thursday night is less crowded. I would recommend making a reservation Wed or Thur night. If you getting drinks, appetizers, main course after tax and tip expect $150/person. Lots to choose from on a menu: meats, seafood, desserts- tons of options. Largest size of the shrimp that i have ever seen. I say for a special occasion it's totally worth the money. We liked the atmosphere there as well. Waiter joked with us, created a fun atmosphere, recommended amazing wine. It's not loud in the restaurant, you can talk wach other easily.

We had Christmas dinner here and it was marvelous. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent and everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. This was an amazing meal before our holiday trip and I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special to have dinner in Burlington. A true classic.
