And this makes it more difficult in theory to recommend a friend...Why?... Because if you make the recommendation based just on the fact the person is your friend you may get burned... If he's not good, the person who hired him based on your reccomendation and has a bad experience will blame you, not him! It is you that will pay the price, not him... You will lose your trust from people you know and reputation you worked so hard to earn! ... Maybe even you will lose your friend the realtor too! ... So you got to be very careful when recommending friends...
Luckily for me that's not the case!
I am trusting this guy when time will come with one of my biggest assets: my house! Why? Because he's a profesional, hardworking and loyal to his clients as he is to his friends! He's the one who will try to know you first, not your house and teach you if it makes sense for you to sell or buy.
So yes, go ahead and have a chat with him! Even if you don't plan to sell or buy a house soon, give him a call and listen to what he has to say! You will not get an exceptional realtor only, but also a friend. Two for one! Now that's what I call a deal!
