Canine Academy

I was looking for a place that my daughter could learn to be a dog trainer. We are from Sudbury, On and it's amazing how many other dog trainers wouldn't give me the time of day or didn't know anything about how to go about teaching my daughter. I called Sue and from the beginning, I got the feeling that she cared. She took the time to answer all my questions even though she was literally running out the door to get a cab because she was going on vacation (this was pre-covid). Right there and then, I found a way to send my daughter out of town to learn at Canine Academy. Sue and team taught and helped my daughter to become a dog trainer. I can't thank you enough for all the work and time that everyone took to train my daughter to be a professional and to have a future. THANK YOU!!!

Amazing facility and knowledgeable staff!!

What an amazing establishment. Sue makes you feel very comfortable and engaging. Canine Academy helped us learn so much about our dog and how to help her cope with anxiety. Without making us feel like we are bad dog owners. The understanding we have now as to how we can help our dog feel safe and calm is surely going to help. Thank you Canine Academy. Amazing services for our Frenchie!

We had adopted our dog at 5 years old during the summer and needed to enrol him in a basic training course--we were so happy to have found Canine Academy! We took the Level 1 course and were extremely pleased. Every week my partner and I (and our dog!) looked forward to going to class. They were well planned and we covered a lot of helpful material. Even just for socialization, these classes are amazing. Our dog had a very hard time with looking at us and reacting to his name in the beginning, but with what we learned in class and practice over the course of 7 weeks, he's really improved a lot. It has certainly given us and him more confidence, and has also helped us bond with him. The facility is great and quite spacious, and there is lots of parking. Sue and Carla were fantastic and incredibly helpful. They were always available after class for additional questions or support, and were very supportive and encouraging during class itself. We most certainly will be bringing Quill back for more classes! Thank you!
