Shaw Festival Theatre

Great show! Unfortunately covid took some of leads off the bill but wow! The understudies knocked it outta the park : ) Set design was beautiful with neat visual transitions. Costumes were lovely. Staff were helpful and efficient. A great time, we will be back!

Absolutely LOVED IT!! Saw "The importance of being Earnest". The place has plenty of parking spots and is close to all the other attractions. Tickets are somewhat expensive (yet totally worth it) but if you are looking to save some $$, go under the FAQs and look for Deal of the day code. I got the best seats for just $50. Even if you have someone who doesn't like theatre, take them, it will blow their mind.

Great plays here. Beautiful theater. Very friendly staff. I keep coming back, it seems to get better every year!

This was our first visit to the Festival Theatre and were thoroughly impressed. It’s a great facility, with both indoor and outdoor capacity during intermissions. They have a wonderful selection of wines, beers and other treats. Most importantly, the seating was very comfortable, and the sight lines are quite good. We sat in the orchestra, so I can’t offer an opinion on the balcony seating. Acoustics were good, and the stage was impressively big, but not vacuous like an all-purpose theatre.

We saw their current version of The Importance of Being Earnest, which was a delight. It was a strong cast, and well staged.

We will definitely return.

Loved it! Saw The Importance of being Earnest and it didn't disappoint! First time there and I have issues with heights. I didn't know the balcony was so steep. They immediately took my wife and I down to the Orchestra seats and did not charge us the additional cost. All around great experience!
