The Pie Plate

Happened upon this place on my bike. Stopped for a coffee but they didn’t have Apple Pay available. They gave me a free coffee anyway! The coffee was fabulous and I enjoyed it sitting comfortably on a sofa under a shade tree to boot. Went back a few days later to buy some delicious pastries for a gathering at home. We all raved about the strawberry/rhubarb crumble!!

Always amazing to come here. Do not leave without having their pies after a wonderfully tasty seasonal pizza. It is inspired by local farms’ available fruit and they are always amazing.

Small menu but the quality is superb. Everything tastes homemade. Friendly staff that was welcoming to our baby in stroller (note entrance has steps so beat to bring just the carseat or babywear).

Spent a few days in area last week. I made/begged my wife to go here three mornings in a row. Well, lunch one of those days. Anyway, I wish I could give 10 stars. Amazingly good. Super friendly people. Treat yourself to a great experience. Go to The Pie Plate.

We went here for lunch and it was great! The pizza is amazing and the pies were excellent! It gets pretty busy around lunch time so be prepared to wait. It is worth the wait though!
