Brittany's Custom Creations

We were so blessed to find Brittany in the FINAL DAYS leading up to our wedding! Story time: due to the pandemic/gathering restrictions, our original venue near King City cancelled our contract and our previous bakery in that area wouldn't deliver outside of their delivery zone. Not only did we not know where we were going to have our wedding, but we didn't have a baker either! Eventually we settled on a venue, but because the province wasn't "open" yet, there was a split chance that our wedding was either going to happen in Whitby or Brampton. When I contacted Brittany, I told her that I needed the cake no matter what, but the delivery location wouldn't be definite until possibly the day before the wedding. Not only was Brittany SO accommodating and understanding of our situation, but she completely understood our vision for the cake and used the flavours we had already fallen in love with months before: chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. I literally had a million things on my mind, and had given up on loving our wedding cake. We couldn't even do a taste test given the time constraint, so my original intention was just to "get it done." Boy did Brittany exceed all expectations!

People always ask me what my favourite part of the wedding day was, and of course there are so many beautiful memories, but seeing the cake for the first time (and tasting it) is one of my FAVOURITE moments from the day. I had completely forgotten about the cake, but when I saw it, I was so happy. It was stunning, and it tasted incredible! The cake was so good, we had guests who at first refused a slice hear how good it was and then went to have some. I think some people even took 2 slices without permission...

Brittany, thank you for accommodating our last minute crazy requests, thank you for making sure that the cake was transported in the right delivery vehicle, and thank you for giving us such a special gift of joy with your cake. All the stress melted away when we saw and tasted the cake. It was such a Cinderella moment, and not just because of the colour scheme!
