    Namaste,

I have been doing Yoga for several years but never have I had the opportunity to practice in an authentic Indian studio. I love it! There is no pretentious attitude. The teachers are knowledgeable and the students are all down to earth. It is small, clean and intimate. You have the option of a heated room or not and no teacher is going to tell you not to leave the heated room (even to use the washroom) like some hot studios do.

They teach Hatha Yoga which I love because there are many circular movements to lubricate the joints. In many Vinyasa or Modo/Moksha Yoga classes, I find there to be many linear movements which leave me feeling a little unsatisfied.

Another bonus is classes are $15 and there is an intro special for $25 for two weeks and a $99 monthly. These are affordable prices that allow you to maintain a Yoga practice for a long time vs almost 25 dollars a class in other studios.

At the end of the day, it’s a personal preference. If you love to be around down to earth people and have a love for an authentic experience, I highly recommend this studio. It is a gem in the city of Brampton.

I am very happy to join Indian Yoga and Meditation Center. It has very nice facilities for Hot Yoga, non heated option is available too.I take this opportunity to thank owner and all the teachers for being so wonderful, knowledgeable and "being there" whenever I need. The center has provided me opportunity to refresh my yoga practice and start my definite healing journey towards achieving ultimate Divine goal.
Once again - feeling grateful, Thanks a lot.

Great place for beginners to learn and practice yoga. The studio has a heated room as well as a non-heated room for those who do not want the heat. They offer several sessions during the day allowing you to pick the one that's most convenient. Since they have different teachers conducting different sessions through the week you're sure to learn something new each session. It keeps the sessions from getting repetitive. The size of the studio is large enough to accommodate a sizable number of people yet no so big that the instructor can't pay attention to individuals. Every session I have attended so far has been interesting and fun. Great place to get started on those awesome yoga moves :-)

I've been going to IY for 3 years. On my first day, I was instantly welcomed. I tried all the classes with the different teachers, and each has their own way of teaching and are very dedicated to their practice. I love Sally! She is so receptive to the students and changes the flow of the class to fit the students energy level. I always feel encouraged to do my best by all teachers.
