The Big'r Apple Farm

Staff is quite friendly. You must know what times to visit The Big’r Apple Farm because it can get very busy. Also, they have a good selection of vegetables and fruits especially if you are South Asian. One thing that does bring my rating down is the price. First of all, we are picking our vegetables/fruits ourselves which means we are using our energy, but we are still getting same price as grocery stores. I agree it is fresh, but that does not mean we should be wasting our energy and paying same price. Prices definitely need to be decreased.

The Big'r Apple farm is an ok place to explore if you are planning for vegetables and apple plucking for the first time. They have got a huge area divided into two parts, one for vegetable and the other dedicated only for apple plucking. The price is pretty reasonable and you will be able to find a lot of stuff if you plan your visit a little early.

You can have good family time at this place. The only thing that's pretty uncertain about this place is the availability of the vegetables and apples and the apple section is pretty scattered so by the time you reach to explore and pluck all the desired apples most of them might have been stocked out or you'll find them lying below. I'll recommend if you are going for the 1st time, you can check this place out, get to know the drill and then try looking for other places for apple plucking.

Nice low-key experience. Great apples, lots of variety and trees to choose from. Pretty. Friendly stuff. No "attractions", but these days it's a plus:)
Only minus ( at least for us) it's a cash only place.

Very no frills farm, which is fine by me. This is not a place where you bring kids cause there's nothing for them to do (no tractor rides, no petting zoo, etc...). If you want that, I suggest Downey's where there will be a fee No entrance fee here, and the apples were absolutely fantastic. They let us mix up apples and pears in the same bag. They also have a selection of veggies (pre-picked and pick your own). There isn't much parking, so come early or car pool. Overall, I recommend this farm (no picnic tables or anything, we had our own impromptu picnic in the fields). They're totally ok with you eating apples while you pick, which is generous.

Amazing place! Has a great selection of fruits and vegetables every time we visit! I love to take the kids here in fall for pumpkin picking and in summer for strawberry picking. Staff was very friendly and helped assist us with any questions we had! This farm is definitely one of the best that I have gone to!
