Congee Queen - Mississauga(Heartland Town Centre)

The service is overall okay, most of the staff know how to speak English, so those that are worried about a language barrier, there's none so don't worry. However, I do wish that the staff would be more attentive and check up on the tables they serve. I do though understand that this particular location does get busy around dinner time, so in advance, make sure to make reservations if you are dinning with a big group of people. It will save you time and effort of waiting in a crowd.

In terms of food, it's by far one of the best food places because they are well portioned sizes for prices you pay. Most Asian restaurants that charge $15 for a bowl of fried rice are typically smaller compared to this place. My girlfriend and I always leave satisfied and the fact she's vegan and full is great as well.

Top Vegan Items: A4 - Assorted Fungus and Six Grain Congee (Rice Porridge), K60 -Pan fried eggplants, K62 Deep Friend dough fritter to dip in the congee are my girlfriend's top pick! Make sure to tell them to sub items to make vegan friendly. Remember these portions are big.

Food is good, great selection. I personally love their General Tao chicken. On weekends, this place is a mad house. Good luck getting a table if you don't have a reservation. It's a very popular spot but you can wait quite a while if you're just walking in during peak hours like lunch or dinner.

Overall, good experience, good staff, good food. Enjoy.

Diet is not permitted ????????????????????????. This is my personal favorite go-to restaurant branch. The taste, presentation and smell of the food are superb. Service is so fast to accommodate everyone who are lining-up to experience everything in the menu. The ambience and the ginormous chandelier are a plus!

Great food and fantastic service! We have eaten here a couple times now and it won't be the last! Food quality and quantity are on point. Service is fast and helpful. The front order area could be a bit more organized. It's a bit difficult to figure out where to stand on line when there is a mound of people around the reception. They could use a couple more people in the front to keep the customers informed on wait times. Overall, our go to place for GOOD Chinese food!
