Beautiful park filled with tons of things to do. There were large stretches of beachfront, a museum with the history of the Sibbald family, lots of open space for picnics or playing games, a restaurant, and more.

It's a nice park. Start our camping season here every year since it's close to home. It's very popular so the beach gets quite busy. If you're bringing a camper you'll want to arrive early or come with your water tank full because there's always a line at the start of the weekends and the pump is slow!

One of my favourite places to visit in the summer! Very large park with many campsites, a great beach area, a marina and several picnic areas scattered throughout! There is also a museum, gift shop and snack bar in the park. The shoreline is quite long and is accessible from different points in the park. Personally, the sandy area is a bit too busy for my liking, however, as you venture further down the shoreline you come to a rocky portion which is much less crowded and offers a spectacular view to watch the sunset in peace. Swimming here is always great as the water is generally clean (bring some sandals though as it might be uncomfortable to step on the rocks in the rocky area)! The park has a lot of room to walk & roam as well as play sports as it offers nice open fields. I try to come to this park as often as I can in the summer as it is quite close to Toronto and a nice summer experience to swim and have a picnic/BBQ!

stayed for thanksgiving weekend 2018 with our trailer.
2 hr wait to fill with water in October! !!
only one water fill and one dump spot for entire park! plenty of room in area to build more stations!

no pressure to fill or clean tanks. ..
lucky for us we live min's away so we left and came back around 4pm to dump as its end of camp season.
the line up of trailers on main drive waiting to get into dump area was crazy!
must be a complete nightmare during the summer! !
seriously sibbald pp u really need to do something! !
take a lesson from Emily pp not that far away !
we really liked our site it was our first ever trip in may and took same spot to end the season...would love to try the same site next summer. .however this water and dump station issue really has us debating if it's worth the aggro
no excuse for a park this busy to not up their game!

Big provincial park one hour drive from Toronto. Great for any party size of campers great place for fishing boating and swimming. Huge picnic area to spend a day BBQ. Clean facilities. Can get extremely crowded weekends in the summer. Good ice fishing in the winter they have some winter activities you can enjoy.
