Ban Ban Sushi

We stumbled upon Ban Ban Sushi while ordering Golden Lion so we decided to try them out. They are located inside of Golden lion. We ordered the 60 pieces party tray and it was awesome in terms of the quality we got vs. the price we paid. The sashimi was really fresh, good thick pieces and got some premium fish probably wouldn't have got if we ordered elsewhere. The sushi and the rolls were well made with a good portion of rice and fish. They are offering 15% off, so it's a great place to try.

Friendly staff and great prices for sushi trays!

Tired out their spicy rolls (crab, salmon, tuna) for the first time and it wasn’t too bad. Pricing was reasonable, fish to rice ratio was decent. They did however go too overboard on the spicy mayo, it did drown the taste a bit. Definitely would recommend asking them to go easy on the spicy mayo.

It's nice to have a new sushi joint in the berczy area. I had their party tray during grand opening week and I have to say quality and portions were good. 5 stars!

I ordered their small platter during their soft opening with 30% off.

The portions were okay and especially with the discount it was great value.
The sushi and sashimi weren't the best I've had in the area but I do live in the neighbourhood so it is nice to have a sushi place down the street as the next closest is probably Ai Sushi.

Their service is okay as it is a take out option sharing the roof under the existing restaurant. The payment portion however was a bit confusing at first. You pay the owner of the restaurant and then the sushi counter is serperate.

Overall it's okay, I'll probably try them out again. I do hope the sashimi quality gets a bit better.
