I was at Foodland this morning grabbing some salt for our driveway and salt for the water softener. I'm not a very big person so I was dreading loading the salts into my trunk. A gentleman who worked at Foodland graciously offered to put the salt in my cart and then even walked me out to my car AND put it in my trunk for me..now that's service!
Thank you to the awesome staff at Foodland for showing true small town charm..this definitely doesn't happen in the big city!!
Nice local supermarket. Could use a bit more variety when it comes to selection in produce but all in all a good place to shop.
Quite pricey in comparison to supermarkets in Newmarket, but since there aren't any competitors anywhere nearby, can't really do anything about it.
Having said that, considering that there aren't any other options around, if you need anything, they'll probably have it. Would like more variety when it comes to international foods. -

(January 6, 2019, 3:33 am)Small town friendly service. Selection is limited, but the hours are quite convenient. Good selection of meat, fruits and vegetables. There is a LCBO and Beer Store agency store within the store, too.
