I had bilateral knee replacement performed by Dr. J.T.Bertoia in early November 2017, and already in just four months the results are great. Able to walk WITHOUT pain and my legs are straight. Just fantastic. Dr. Bertoia is an unassuming, very competent outstanding orthopaedic surgeon. Answers and explains it all in a thorough manner. His office staff is very organized, informed and promped. His team at Southlake is also very skilled and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Bertoia. Thank you Dr. for making me well. You are my hero.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateI had a complete tear on my ACL. I checked out several surgeons pre surgery. Most have a ridiculous waiting period. I was taken in by Dr. Bertoia and had surgery less then a month after my accident. I was really happy with how much he cared about my progress.
I was playing ballhockey that same year with moderate pain, but I was back and that was what I wanted. Each year is better and now it's practically new again. He explained the deal and the progress, I worked on my knee and did my rehab. I highly recommend him for sports related knee surgeries.
He has done 3 surgeries done by him and all have worked out fantastic. He explains everything he is going to do.
