Super friendly, honest guy. I left his store feeling much more informed about the framing process.

I highly recommend Ray's Picture Frames and Art Centre for framing degrees, certificates and diplomas - this is THE place to go! If you have a graduation or convocation ceremony coming up at your university, college or school, don't fall for the framing deals and packages that they offer at the ceremony - go to Ray instead and you'll be amazed at how he treats your document for a fraction of the cost! The first time Ray framed a university degree for me was in 2011 (York University). It was so good that I later asked him to frame my graduate degree (Queen's University) and then recently I gave him my college certificate (St. Lawrence College) to frame! Here's what you can expect when you ask Ray to frame yours and here's why I highly recommend him:

First, the quality of his craftsmanship and the special materials he uses. He knows what frame will best show off the degree, certificate or diploma. He has so much experience and expertise that he can recommend the most suitable style depending on the type of document - a science degree as compared to a law degree, for example. That way, your document will look absolutely professional and distinctive. The wood that he'll be using for my most recent certificate is marked "Made in Italy." The glass he'll be using is actually fibreglass has a matt finish, meaning that it won't shine and glare like a low-quality sheet of glass. Plus, it has a coating that reduces ultraviolet (UV) light rays that cause fading. This helps to prevent the dulling of the degree or certificate over time that is caused by light and sunlight, especially. Another very important feature of Ray's frames, be sure to keep in mind, is the way he mounts the degree or certificate to the back of the frame using a special tissue adhesive, which keeps the document flat against the surface. This is what prevents the document from wrinkling over time, which is what happens when you just slip a degree into a ready-made frame that is not custom-made. Having these features on my degrees meant that today they still look as good as they did when they were first framed!

Secondly, Ray's prices are the best in town - he has always given me an amazing price! The framing packages that are offered at convocation ceremonies just don't compare - they're low in quality and high in price and you'll see this for yourself. Don't hesitate to give Ray a visit and not only will he do an excellent job with your framing, you can rest assured he'll never overprice you - his prices for his high-quality work are even better than the prices for other framing options that are low in quality. This is because he loves his work, he's dedicated to doing a good job each time and he wants his customers to be truly satisfied and happy with his products.

I highly recommend Ray for framing. I've seen him make my two degrees look excellent and they've looked as good as the day he made them. No wrinkles on my degrees because he mounted them with special adhesive. No fading because of the UV coating on the glass. Looking at the degrees is easy on the eyes because of the matt surface of the fibreglass that doesn't produce glare. I'm really looking forward to collecting the certificate I recently gave Ray to frame!

Love this store. Ray always listens to your needs and gives you a product that you will always be happy with. Amazing service and a very reasonable price. I have gotten all my pictures framed here and have never been disappointed. These where the last few I got done and am absolutely thrilled with how they turned out.
