I'm not in the habit of writing reviews for product, however, this is worth mentioning.
My folks being 90 and 91 years old are moving to a retirement living. They are moving from a 3 bedroom house into a single room. Went to the web looking for a hide a bed (murphy bed) to increase space. Need something that was motorized. Filled the online build a bed and was given a price. Called Kathy the next day to indicate i wasn't going with the sofa portion. She email back

One important thing you should consider when ordering the Murphy bed is when in bed position it is only 10" high off the floor.

I know it is for your parents so it might be too low for them to get on and off in the future. All Murphy beds are low.

Our desk and sofa models are 19" high therefore more suited to seniors.

Best money spent ever! During my research I came across people that would tell me: "That's too much money for a bed"... Well, the thing is you cannot compare this one with any other bed. In my case it was Hidden Bed, or a big construction project to either enlarge our kid's bedroom or build a new one.
The product has an excellent quality and the design is really nice. And YES, you do save a lot of space! Our kid loves it!
Keith, Kathy and the whole Hidden Bed team can't be better: professional, friendly, attentive and accommodating. You cannot ask for more. But, even if they weren't as awesome as they are, I would still by their product.

Very cool and innovative space-savvy furniture for small spaces. I personally love working here, and yes, I really do own my own Hiddenbed in my guest room. It's the perfect solution for an everyday home office that transforms in to a guest suite on demand.
