Fantastic spot with great coffee and food. They have sourdough breads that are incredible, and delicious pastries and sandwiches. Highly recommended local fare, and really friendly staff to boot.

My favorite coffee shop & bakery ever ! My husband and i have traveled all over North America and this is hands down our favorite little cafe we've been to. There espresso is so smooth and delicious, the sourdough bread has the perfect crust with a soft interior that doesn't make you bloat after eating it , the baked goods are all soo delicious and the staff are just the sweetest , always so kind and friendly. I can't say enough good things about fifth chute. It's a hidden gem in the Ottawa Valley and we're truly lucky to have them . Would highly recommend

What a find! We were on our way back from a canoe adventure in Algonquin and passed this place. The coffee was AMAZING and the sandwiches were so delish! We had the bacon and Brie, the flavour combination was fantastic! Will definitely remember this place if we go back!
