Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort

Beautiful layout with lots of huge elevation changes. Plays a lot longer than the actual yardage on the card. Will definitely be back for another round later in the year.

Very friendly staff, and honestly one of the only golf courses open first week of April. Couldn't be happier! Everything was beige but the course played just like healthy grass. Better than the dry season if you ask me! Love the lake views

I can only speak on the golf course itself, but I thought it was top notch. Played there in July and November and the conditions were great both times. It's simply a beautiful course that's not too challenging for us high handicappers. Definitely will be making a yearly trip.

I've played here consistently over the last 2 1/2 weeks and the staff has been very accommodating and extremely friendly; both Shawn and Joanne have been excellent.

The course is in fair condition given it has been late Oct and early Nov in the Ottawa valley. The fairways are if fair condition although you can tell that some areas may have had some summer burn out in places. The greens are in excellent shape for the time of year but here too I would guess that a few of them had some rough spots (15, 16 and 18).

While this course is walkable it is much more enjoyable in a cart as the finishing holes have a few steep climbs to deal with and that also comes with some steep declines. It can be hard on the knees and lower back if you aren't in the greatest of shapes.

Most of the carts I have been in are in avg condition but they do the job of getting you around the course. No real complaints but they are definitely showing their age.

All-in-all I would recommend an outing to this track as some of the views are really nice and the course is friendly track (with the exception of a couple of blind tee shots). Tee boxes are well set-up for all skill levels and if you stick to yours you should finish your round planning your return trip.

Great picturesque golf course. Some challenging holes!! 3, 15, 16.17 spectacular views. Huge improvements with a new concession stand with drinks and nice clean washrooms. So glad the course has been restored back to its former glory. Cart recommended for most.
