Heartwood Restaurant

This place is a real finding! Must visit for sure if you're looking where to get your stomach full!
Lots of options to eat like sandwiches, true beef 🍖 burgers, salads and some other dishes.
Staff is friendly and welcoming.
Washroom was clean.
Pet-friendly if you sit outside.
They have patio which is pretty but noisy because it's located few meters from the road. Although it's separated by wood fence.
The portions are absolutely astonishing. One bowl 🥣 of salad 🥗 is enough for 2 people. Just look at these photos. Same with burgers and sandwiches because they're served with salads and lots of meat. I wish they never change it!
They also offer their own blend of dark roast coffee ☕. No espresso bar, which is hard to find among other local spots.
All in all probably the best place in radius of 15-20 KMs. Try to visit it and you won't regret!

I would give this a 5 star, but hubby was it blown away by the fish and chips. However, all the other food was amazing, including the pulled pork. This place has great burgers and fries too. I know they usually have a live performer too, it’s been lockdown so never went in to eat, but will need to try it!

So lucky to have found this gem of a restaurant near a cottage we were renting. Tired of cooking for the week, we decided to treat ourselves. And the Heartwood did not disappoint. The Buddha bowls were so flavourful and fresh. The fish and chips delish and the double burger was out of this world. I did not expect to find this type of food in the country. Service was spot on as well. Definitely go and enjoy the Heardwood. You won't regret it.

Great food and friendly service. Lots of variety and something for everyone. We have been twice in a week and will be back for sure the next time we are in the area.
